L’under 23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer su Bianchi Methanol 29 SL ha sfiorato la Top5 nella terza prova della Coppa del Mondo XCO a Nove Mesto Na Morave (Repubblica Ceca), sabato 12 maggio. L'atleta del team TX Active-Bianchi si è piazzato sesto nella gara vinta dal ceco Ondrej Cink.

Kerschbaumer resta sul podio nella classifica generale con 155 punti. “Sono contento di aver mantenuto il terzo posto, ma non del tutto soddisfatto della mia prova. Non vedo l’ora di prendermi la rivincita: sono molto motivato” ha commentato l’altoatesino.

Gli élite Stephane Tempier, Tony Longo e Leonardo Paez saranno in gara su Bianchi Methanol SL2 domenica 13 maggio, alle 14.10. Dopo due prove Tempier è sesto in classifica generale con 230 punti.

Kerschbaumer kept World Cup XCO’s overall podium

U23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer on Bianchi Methanol 29 SL went close to Top-5 at World Cup XCO's round-3 in Nove Mesto Na Morave (Czech Republic), on Saturday, May 12th. TX Active-Bianchi's rider placed sixth in the race won by Czech Ondrej Cink.

Kerschbaumer kept the podium in the general classification: Italian rider is third with 155 points. “I’m happy I kept the podium, but I’m not totally satisfied with my performance. I look forward to take my revenge: I’m really motivated” Kerschbaumer commented.

Elite Stephane Tempier, Tony Longo and Leonardo Paez will be in the action on Bianchi Methanol SL2 Sunday, May 13th at 2.10 pm. After two rounds Tempier is sixth placed in the general classification with 230 points.
